Cookies Kitchen Workshop: Sunday 9th April & Sunday 16th April
Introducing a cooking workshop in the presence of a genius.
For years, our infamous French head chef Eric Fleury aka ‘Cookie’ has wowed our guests with dish after dish of stunning culinary perfection. Most guests return from their holidays at the R & S Chalet Collection craving recipes & an insight into how the spectacular meals are created.
Now we offer you the chance to learn from the master himself whilst still allowing you time to experience the magnificent skiing on offer in the Portes-du-Soleil.
With a choice of either a 5 or 7-night stay, you will participate in preparing and cooking the daily meal from our gold and platinum menus under the watchful eye and guidance of the chef.
Your days will entail a morning of preparation for the evening meal followed by free time to be taken as you please; enjoy the great skiing on offer, having a walk through beautiful Morzine, or even just relax in the hot-tub at the chalet. Final preparation of the evening meal recommences later in the afternoon through to dinner service in the evening.
On the 7 night stay, the final day will include a true gastronomic finalé created & prepared by the master himself.
Spaces on Cookies Kitchen Workshop are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 participants but fear not if you have a non-cooking partner or friend that you wish to bring along – spaces are available in the chalet for those not partaking in the cooking.
Prices for the cooking workshop are £795 per person for a 5-night stay and £995 per person for a 7-night stay. For partners or friends not taking part in the cooking workshop the 5-night price would be £525 per person or £680 for the 7-night stay with all prices based on a minimum of 2 people sharing a room (please contact us if you would require single occupancy of a room).
We pride ourselves in offering a restaurant quality, chalet dining experience. With the finest ingredients, we will take you on a culinary journey, embracing traditional French cuisine and fusion flavours from around the globe.
Our professional chefs design menus to give you a wide range of fine cuisine, and we will do our best to cater for any dietary requirements or special requests you may have.
Each day will begin with a buffet style breakfast, comprising of cereals, breads, croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, conserves. In addition there will be a hot breakfast option provided each day.
At lunch time you have a wide variety of restaurants and cafes that are clearly marked on the piste maps and spread throughout the town.
After an exciting day, exploring the mountains or charming resort, you will enjoy afternoon tea and cakes back in the comfort of the chalet. Prepare to spend your evening dining on an exquisite 4-course meal, (or 3-course at Chalet Madosa) with complimentary wine paired by our in-house sommeliers.
An example of one of our typical dinner menu is as follows:
