Avoriaz ski resort is renown for its unique architecture that brings charm and character found nowhere else. This ski-in resort comes alive in the winter months with an abundance of restaurants and bars to choose from.
The town is set high on the Prodains cliff looking down over Morzine. It is situated at the centre of the Portes du Soleil resort and provides easy access to all 65 kilometres of pistes and 13 Savoyard villages.
From your R&S Chalet in Morzine, you can ski to Avoriaz from the Super Morzine gondola and enjoy an easy ski over with breathtaking views. Alternatively you can take the free bus or 'Navette' to Prodains and access Avoriaz from the Prodains cable car.
There is a vast amount of terrain around Avoriaz, ranging from undulating, wide pistes, steep blacks, 2 terrain parks, moguls, and an extensive array of off-piste. For the more adventurous there are numerous off-piste tree runs, cliff drops, and powder bowls. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding are among the additional activities available in Avoriaz during the winter.
Avoriaz truly has something for everyone.
